The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections concluded on Thursday with a historic 64.66% voter turnout, according to the ECI. This is the highest turnout in Bihar's history, with the last record set during the 1998 Lok Sabha elections at 64.6%. A total of 121 assembly constituencies went to the polls with an electorate of over 3.75 crore.
