Researchers developed a tiny wireless chip implant and pair of high-tech glasses which can help restore partial vision in patients who lost their sight. Developed by Stanford Medicine, PRIMA chip is the first eye prosthesis device to restore functional sight to patients with incurable vision loss. In the clinical trial, 27 of 32 participants regained reading vision in a year.
