During an interview, former CJI DY Chandrachud has said that his "prayer" before the Ayodhya verdict didn't mean he did so only before that judgement. "I am a person of faith and I do pray every day...My faith has nothing to do with my ability to dispense justice," he added. He further said that courts are arenas of "conflict".
