BJP President JP Nadda accused Congress of trying to erase Sardar Patel from history and even questioning the need for building Statue of Unity. He said while Patel united 562 states, then-PM Jawaharlal Nehru insisted on deciding Jammu and Kashmir's fate. "What did he (Nehru) decide? Article 370 became a nuisance to the country's unity and integrity," Nadda said.
