Speaking after winning 2024 Madrid Open, world number six Andrey Rublev thanked the people working in the food department of the event. He stated that the department managed to arrange "something special" ordered by him that they didn't had. He called the food team "great". Rublev defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final with a scoreline of 4-6, 7-5, 7-5.
