The doctor who died by suicide in Maharashta's Satara after alleging repeated rape and harassment by a policeman also accused an MP of threatening her for not issuing a false certificate, reports said, citing her suicide note. The unnamed MP's personal assistants allegedly went to the hospital where she worked and made her speak with him on the phone.
