BJP leader Altaf Thakur called Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah's remark in the Assembly on the Pahalgam terrorist attack as "very mature" and "heart-touching". "The entire J&K is appreciating the statement of J&K CM," Thakur added. "It'll be shameful on my part to demand statehood at this point...We will talk about statehood later," Abdullah said in the Assembly.
