Seven people died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in dry Bihar's West Champaran district, police said on Sunday. The police came to know about the deaths on Sunday though the first fatality occurred four days ago and bodies of seven people were already cremated. Superintendent of Police Shaurya Suman, however, asserted that reason behind at least two fatalities wasn't hooch.
