Film producer-director Kawal Sharma has been booked for allegedly cheating Bollywood actress Kiran Ahuja of ₹71 lakh between August 2024 and April 2025. She alleged that Sharma lured her to invest in his projects with promises of high returns. When Ahuja sought for returns, Sharma issued two cheques, both of which bounced, prompting her to file an official police complaint.
