CPI(M) criticised the Indian government for not taking a firm stand against the "coercive and unjust actions" taken by the US President Donald Trump-led administration, including the hike in H-1B visa fee, 50% tariffs, and sanctions on Iran's Chabahar Port. "Rather than resisting these strong-arm tactics, PM Modi has chosen to respond with vague sermons about...self-reliance," CPI(M) said.
