A study by Brazil's National Institute for Space Research found a correlation between disturbances in Earth's magnetic field resulting from solar storms and an increase in frequency of heart attacks in women. The effect is most pronounced in women aged 31 to 60, the study said. It used epidemiological data collected from public health system of São José dos Campos.
