Tamil actress Manya Anand accused Dhanush's manager, Sreyas, of casting couch. Manya alleged how he contacted her and other artists, inviting them to participate in a project linked to Dhanush, while allegedly making objectionable requests. She recalled Sreyas saying, "There's commitment (adjustment)." Challenging the demand, she questioned its intent, responding, "Why should I give commitment?"
