The Supreme Court has held that a tenant who came to rent property through a deed executed by a landlord cannot challenge the landlord's ownership, especially after having paid rent for decades. It said this while deciding on a seven-decade-old landlord-tenant dispute that began in 1953. The case concerned a shop originally rented by the tenants' predecessors.
