Ladakh administration has revoked land allotment made in 2018 for climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's Himalayan Institute of Alternatives Ladakh (HIAL), over financial defaults and regulatory violations. Officials said government land was provided with two conditions- pay ₹14 crore within a year and finish construction in two years. Neither of the conditions has been fulfilled, they said.
