After 18 people were killed in a stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that four special trains would evacuate "the unprecedented sudden rush" at the station. In his tweet, which he posted at 11.52 pm on Saturday, Ashwini said that the rush had been reduced. The stampede took place at platform number 14.
