Astronomers have captured a radio image showing two black holes orbiting each other for the first time. With this, the existence of black hole pairs has been confirmed. Previously, astronomers had only been able to image individual black holes. An international team of researchers achieved this breakthrough by imaging the pair at the center of a quasar called OJ287.
