The US FDA has flagged significant lapses in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at an undisclosed warehouse of Hetero Labs Limited in Andhra Pradesh. The agency found active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates exposed to birds, lizards and cats, with multiple drums mislabelled and stored without documentation. Hetero is the first company in India to launch generic version of Remdesivir.
