Workplace bullying and negative behaviour, such as exclusion, humiliation, or unfair treatment, hinder creative thinking and discourage employees from pursuing innovative side projects, an IIM Lucknow study found. Such behaviour drains employees' "relational energy", it added. Organisations should build a culture of support, respect, and open dialogue to "unlock" innovation, a PhD scholar said.
