TMC leader and West Bengal minister Siddiqullah Chowdhury's car was attacked on Thursday when he was on his way to Bardhaman. Chowdhury escaped unhurt but alleged the attack was carried out by workers of his party. "Locals upset with corrupt minister protested spontaneously as he had done nothing for the people of Monteswar," Local panchayat pradhan Rafiqul Islam Sheikh said.
