A man died and three others suffered critical injuries due to reckless driving on the Mumbai-Goa highway near Khamb village in Raigad. The car collided with a parked trailer, driven by Siddhesh Shinde, and Kolad police registered a case against him for "reckless and negligent driving resulting in death and injuries". They were returning from tourist attractions in Chiplun, Ratnagiri.
