A Leica camera, once owned by Pope Francis has been sold for €6.5 million (approximately ₹67 crore) at an auction, far above its expected price of €60,000–€70,000 (around ₹62 lakh-₹72 lakh). Leica gifted this camera to Pope Francis in 2024, though it's unclear whether he used it, officials said. This sale sets new record for Leica camera sold for charity.
