Elon Musk's Tesla is urging its suppliers to exclude China-made components in the manufacturing of its cars in the US, Wall Street Journal reported. The automaker has already replaced some Chinese components and aims to switch the remaining ones with those made outside of China by 2027. Tesla's China-made EV sales fell 9.9% YoY to 61,497 units in October.
