Union IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday said existing laws need to be made stricter to curb vulgar content on social media platforms. "There is...difference between Indian culture and that of countries from where these social media platforms have come," he said at the Parliament. "Social media is a tool for freedom of expression and for uncontrolled expressions," he added.
