Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said talks between India and the US over a free trade agreement are "ongoing in a cordial atmosphere". He further clarified that negotiations are never based on deadlines. "There is no agreement unless we fully address the interests of the nation, including those of India's farmers, fishermen and MSMEs," he added.
