India on Wednesday voted in favour of a United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution that sought an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. India was among the 158 nations that voted in favour of the resolution while nine member states, including Israel and the US, voted against it. Among the 13 nations that abstained were Albania and Ukraine.
