Bangladesh is grappling with a currency crisis with the central bank halting the circulation of newly printed banknotes featuring the country's founding father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This has created a shortage of clean money in the market and the financial loss is estimated to be taka 15,000 crore. Reportedly, the printing process for the new notes has not yet begun.
