The Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday introduced two categories of special visas for international students who want to pursue higher education here. International students registered on the Study in India (SII) portal can access the 'e-student visa' while their dependents are eligible for the 'e-student-x visa', officials said. Students can apply via indianvisaonline.gov.in to obtain the visas.
