A fake notice is circulating online falsely attributed to the Ministry of Power, claiming that the electricity power connection will be cut off for not updating the previous month's bill. The government's fact-checking unit, PIB Fact Check, took to X and clarified that the notice was fake and that the Ministry of Power didn't issue it.
