Muhammad Yunus-led Bangladesh interim government has issued a statement after the International Crimes Tribunal gave the death penalty to ousted PM Sheikh Hasina and ex-Home Minister for committing crimes against humanity. "We call on the Indian government to immediately hand over these two convicted individuals. This is an obligation for India under the existing extradition treaty," it stated.
