A day ahead of Maharashtra Assembly polls, BJP leader Vinod Tawde was accused by the Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) of distributing cash for votes in Palghar district. The party has accused the BJP leader of carrying ₹5 crore in the bag in a meeting held at Vasai Virar. However, Tawde denied allegations and said EC should conduct an impartial inquiry.
