Over escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Karnataka Minister Santosh Lad urged the government to tackle fake news. He said, "The government of India should take into consideration that wrong information can lead to chaos in society." He also appealed to the media, saying videos shared should be "more genuine" and "should authenticate from the government" to prevent public confusion.
