Asaduddin Owaisi, who is in Algeria as part of Operation Sindoor delegation, said that Pakistan is epicentre of takfirism and should be brought back to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) 'grey list'. Takfirism refers to ideology that calls for killing of fellow Muslims seen as apostates or unbelievers. Algeria witnessed takfirism during its civil war from 1991 to 2002.
