The Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Wednesday. By 12.50 pm, Sensex rose over 900 points to 85,503, while Nifty gained around 284 points to cross 26,100. Trent, Axis Bank, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Titan and Tata Steel led the BSE gains, while JSW Steel, HDFC Life, and Coal India were among the gainers on the Nifty50.
