Union Minister JP Nadda on Tuesday criticised the Congress party, calling the Emergency an "evil attempt to strangle democracy". Talking about the Emergency days, Nadda said that he was an Intermediate student in Patna and was arrested twice from the class. "We had gone to study, we were arrested from the class. We have seen those days too," he said.
