Manipur recorded the highest inflation rate among states at 9.69% as India's CPI inflation surged to a 14-month high of 6.21% in October. Among the big states, Chhattisgarh had the highest inflation at 8.84%, followed by Bihar at 7.83% and Odisha at 7.51%. Inflation in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh was at 7.36% and 7.03%, respectively.
