Puducherry Police have refused permission for TVK chief Vijay's proposed roadshow and have instead advised him to hold public meeting in a ground. When asked why the roadshow was considered unfeasible, an officer said, "The narrow roads in Puducherry can't hold the massive crowds Vijay draws." This comes after 41 people died in a stampede during Vijay's rally in Karur.
