World's richest person and Tesla CEO Elon Musk gifted 268,000 shares of Tesla worth $112 million (over ₹960 crore) to unnamed charities two days before New Year 2025. The gift was part of Musk's "year-end tax planning" and went to "certain charities," Tesla said. Musk sent $5.7 billion to unnamed charities in a similar manner at the end of 2021.
