Climate health risks may cost global economy $1.5 trillion (₹131 lakh crore) in lost productivity by 2050, said World Economic Forum. "Every year we delay embedding resilience into business decisions, the risks to human health, productivity...costs of adaptation rises," said WEF official Eric White. Impact to food and agriculture could reach $740 billion in lost output, affecting food security.
