China imported no soyabeans from US in September 2025 for the first time in seven years. Soyabean imports from US to China fell from 1.7 million metric tons a year earlier to zero last month, Chinese government data showed. Shipments fell because of the high tariffs China has imposed on US imports. US increased tariffs on Chinese imports to 130%.
