Main accused in 1993 Deoband bomb blasts, Nazir Ahmed Wani, has been arrested from Srinagar by joint operation of UP Anti-Terrorism Squad and local police. Wani, who had been on run since 1994, changed his identity and appearance to avoid detention, an official said. The blasts occurred in August 1993 during communal violence in Deoband following Babri Masjid demolition.
