After 'Dhurandhar' trailer release, makers received backlash for portraying extreme violence. In defence, Saumya Tandon, who's part of the film, said, "Some people like action films, others don't... Just because some people don't like something, doesn't mean it should be off the market." She added that 'Dhurandhar' doesn't have "mindless violence" for the sake of it, the story justifies it.
