A CCTV footage, widely shared online, shows a speeding vehicle travelling in the wrong direction on a highway in Kanpur, hitting a young boy who was crossing the road. A group of friends who witnessed the incident immediately rushed the injured boy to the hospital. Some social media users alleged the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run was a police jeep.
