Slovakia's PM Robert Fico said many Western countries want the war between Russia and Ukraine to continue. "I'm shocked that there's a proposal that on May 15, Russians and Ukrainians can meet in Istanbul for direct talks where concrete results can be obtained," Fico added. He stated the conflict will “last for years” if Kyiv's Western backers don’t stop interfering.
