Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is reportedly planning to launch a protest seeking the removal of EVMs from the voting process and a return to ballot papers. This comes after MVA lost Maharashtra Assembly elections to BJP-led Mahayuti. Earlier, Supreme Court dismissed a PIL that sought a physical paper ballot voting system in elections to be reintroduced in India, replacing EVMs.
