West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee questioned claims that this year's Maha Kumbh Mela is being held after a gap of 144 years. "After 144 years, Maha Kumbh will come. This is not right. If I'm wrong, correct me," Banerjee said. She also urged UP CM Yogi Adityanath-led government to compensate the families of those who died in Maha Kumbh stampede.
