US Senate has passed the funding bill to end longest-ever government shutdown as at least eight Democrats backed the agreement proposed by President Donald Trump and the Republicans. The bill will now be sent to the House of Representatives for approval before being sent to President Trump for signature. The shutdown entered its 41st day on Monday.
