Mufti Habibullah Haqqani, seen as a close aide of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Pakistan's Dir, reports claimed. Local reports said the gunmen stormed into his house and opened fire, killing him. Subsequently, the attackers fled from the area. Hafiz Saeed is the mastermind of the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.
