Frequent and high intake of ramen can increase mortality risk in several groups, including men and people aged under 70, a study published in The Journal of Nutrition, Health and Aging found. For this, researchers followed 6,725 Japanese nationals for 4.5 years. It also found that such intake is associated with high BMI, smoking, alcohol consumption, diabetes, hypertension, etc.
