Addressing an event in Pune, Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde concluded his speech in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah by saying, "Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra, Jai Gujarat." Shinde chanted the slogan while reciting a shayari in honour of Shah. Reacting to it, Maharashtra Congress President Harshwardhan Sapkal said, "This is nothing but political slavery."
