Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif awarded Wing Commander Malik Rizwan-Ul-Haq Iftikhar for claiming to "destroy" India's S-400 air defence system. However, the system was unharmed during Operation Sindoor. In May, PM Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Base and addressed soldiers while the S-400 system stood in background. The system had thwarted Pakistan's attempts to attack army and civilian areas.
