Maharashtra government will introduce strict anti-conversion law in the Assembly’s winter session, following recent cases of alleged forced conversions. This move will make Maharashtra the 11th state in India to implement such law. Minister Pankaj Bhoyar said the law will be tougher than those in the other 10 states, and a panel under DGP has been formed to draft it.
